January Prayer Focus: Meet Leila

Leila is beautiful inside and out. Her bright smile fills the room with happiness and we’re excited to tell you a little bit about her.

Leila was admitted into our care as an infant with needs surrounding cerebral palsy. She is very perceptive—she likes to watch who is coming and going from her room and is always curious about what’s happening around her.

A few months ago, Leila started attending preschool at Maria’s Big House of Hope. She loves her time in class, and while she likes the view from her chair, she usually lets her teacher know that she’d much rather be held and snuggled. Leila especially enjoys dancing in someone’s arms while listening to music. The thing that makes her laugh most is spinning or swinging back and forth in the arms of her dance partner. She thinks it is great fun and her sweet laugh calls for more and more.
