Rachel and Jake have spent five years volunteering with a camp for children in foster care, and Rachel has spent just as long working with children who have disabilities. Through these experiences and those mentoring relationships, God led Rachel and Jake to their adoption journey. They are currently in the process of adopting a child from South Africa who has disabilities.
This journey is certainly not easy. There are questions about money, travel, the complex path of parenting, and so many other things. But Rachel and Jake are learning that God’s hand guides their lives, and he is worthy of their trust.
