The Cisco Family
Charles and Audrey Cisco have desired to adopt since before they were married. This desire, they said, is grounded in their belief in Jesus. He loves that we may love others.
“We have had faith in Jesus from very young ages and have tried to structure our lives around that belief,” they explain.
For the Ciscos, loving their neighbor is an act of obedience and worship. Charles and Audrey believe that the orphan crisis in particular requires a response from the Church.
“For us, this has always meant welcoming a waiting child into our family and consequently into the covenant family of God,” they say. Throughout this adoption process, God has been teaching the Ciscos patience and “to wholly depend on him.”
