Do It Again

Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman

From Our Founders …

Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, “Do it again;” and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, “Do it again,” to the sun; and every evening, “Do it again,” to the moon. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy, for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we. — G.K. Chesterton

And so it is, dear friends, with the work of Show Hope. As it has been for more than 20 years now, our hands remain open to God’s sovereignty and provision, yet it is our prayer and hope to SEE … again … this work flourish in the year to come.

We ask, with fervency, for God to … again … direct His people to Show Hope—individuals and parents longing to expand their homes with children in need of loving, enduring families. We hope He will … again … use Show Hope as a haven of care and support for children with medical needs and their families. We long … again … to be empathetic to the unique, complex needs of children, teens, and families as we equip them for their journeys. And to be … again … partners in the Gospel with local churches, ministries, and organizations with shared values and desires.

And, friends, that same invitation is … again … extended to you. More than 9,100 children impacted by an Adoption Aid grant would not have been possible without you. As well as more than $1 million awarded to children and families through Medical Care grants … and more than 155,000 engaged with Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey. YOU have been with us, and together, let’s raise our voices to our Father, and say, “Do It Again!”

Thank you … again … for your continued prayers, support, and generosity. We will not know the fullest impacts of this work on this side of eternity, but one day, as He is making all things new, we will SEE.

With hope,

Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman
