May Spotlight: Oakley

Oakley was welcomed to Maria’s Big House of Hope when he was 10 months old. When he arrived, he was quite sick with a nervous system condition, but was able to receive a surgery in time to save his life.

He is now 3 years old and has made great progress under our care! He can often be found in his room, where he will be playing or observing his older friends. As soon as you walk into his room you will be greeted with a funny face, followed by a big giggle. Oakley is such a happy boy, and he loves to smile and laugh.

Oakley began attending our preschool last summer. He really enjoys coming to class with his friends. Some of his favorite activities are singing songs and eating snack, but he is especially fond of crafts. Oakley loves to color, paint, and glue to create beautiful works of art.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to love and care for Oakley every day. Will you join us in praying that Oakley would soon come to know the love of a family?
