Hope for the Journey

Real Help. Real Hope.

Parenting is hard—no questions asked. And while our journeys can be exhausting and challenging, there is much beauty and hope to experience as well.

For our children and teens impacted by adoption and/or foster care, the effects of their pasts can often create unique, complicated needs, which can lead to big behaviors, developmental delays and other challenges. But no child is beyond hope and healing.

Hope for the Journey is a new online learning/training platform, with content that empowers parents, caregivers, church leaders, and professionals to build connection and trust with the children and teens in their care.

Now Available: Access for 3 Months or 1 Year—Based on Your Unique Needs

What Others Are Saying

“This was our first exposure to TBRI. It was life-changing to us as new foster parents in a difficult season.

We are incredibly grateful for the chance to learn about this model and now are eager to continue to learn more.”

— Hope for the Journey Participant

“I love this [resource]! Every year, folks are in tears at understanding what’s going on inside their children. I also have folks who participate every year, and they always walk away with something new. I love that it has the gospel woven in—one of a very few trauma-informed [resources] that is presented through a biblical lens. I believe TBRI is one of the closest care models that best represents God’s heart.”

— Hope for the Journey Participant

"Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey has allowed our church to throw open the doors to our neighbors, saying,

'Welcome! We are FOR you and your family. God loves you and so do we.'”

— Tracy Taplin, Ministry Leader & Educator
