Medical Care Grants
Rising medical costs and access to adequate healthcare can be overwhelming for families, particularly families who have been built through adoption.
Whether it's a pre-existing condition or a need that just recently developed, Show Hope's Medical Care grants financially assist families with medical expenses for their children welcomed home through adoption.
Today, the average Show Hope Medical Care grant is $6,000 and can be applied to varying procedures, treatments, equipment, and rehabilitative therapies.
The Following Are Some Examples:
• Physical and Occupational Therapies
• Vision and Speech Therapies
• Hearing Assistive Devices and Cochlear Implants
• Surgeries (i.e. Cleft Palate, Neuro, Heart, Reconstructive)
• MRIs, CT Scans, PET Scans, etc.

Meet the Eldridge Family
Founders Vision for Medical Care
Building on our expertise and the intricate processes involved with Adoption Aid grants, Show Hope is positioned well to also offer financial assistance toward medical care. In doing so, Show Hope is, once again, addressing head-on not one but two barriers to adoption: financial and medical.
Resources for Medical Care Providers
Many children impacted by adoption and/or foster care have experienced abuse, trauma, neglect, and early attachment injuries. In order to continue to restore hope and healing, Show Hope works to provide support through trauma-informed, trauma-competent teaching and resources, better equipping parents, caregivers, churches, and professionals as they care holistically for the children entrusted to them.
