A Nashville, Tennessee, area native, Abby began her college education at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before transferring and obtaining her degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Middle Tennessee State University. Abby’s passion for the work of Show Hope is personal, as her family has welcomed home four of her seven siblings from China. Additionally, her passion for trauma-informed care led to becoming a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioner prior to serving as the preschool teacher at Maria’s Big House of Hope in Luoyang, China, and as a case manager for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. In her spare time you can find Abby baking, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and enjoying live music.
