Sarah Daley
Coordinator of Programs
Sarah is originally from Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia and majored in Global Studies with a minor in Public Policy & Leadership. Sarah’s concentration in Global Studies was in East Asia and her thesis surrounded international adoption policy and humanitarian care for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC). Sarah is thrilled to work for Show Hope, not only because of her studies in academia and desire to bring voices to the voiceless, but because of her own family’s personal connection to Show Hope. Sarah’s little sister, Lydia Chen, was adopted in 2008 after receiving an Adoption Aid grant through Show Hope. She can’t think of a better way to thank Show Hope for intertwining Lydia’s story with hers than to join the Show Hope team.
Sarah found her way to Tennessee by way of the Franklin Fellows program, a nine-month leadership development program, where she learned about the intersection of faith and vocation. You can find Sarah drinking a chai tea latte with a friend at Honest Coffee, collecting sea glass at the beach, sharing stories about her travels and love for Italian culture, or playing her violin.
