Meet the kids

Living with acute medical and special needs can be one of the biggest barriers standing between vulnerable children and loving families.

As you give financially to the vital and attentive care being provided at Show Hope’s Care Centers in China, you also have the opportunity to follow the stories of some of the precious children whose lives you are helping change.

In light of upcoming changes to Show Hope’s Care Centers program, Care Centers sponsorship gifts, through June 30, 2020, will go to the holistic care of children at the Care Centers in China. On July 1, 2020, and moving forward, Care Centers sponsorship gifts will be reallocated toward Show Hope’s General Fund. Gifts to the General Fund will go wherever the need is greatest—to the area of work that will make the greatest impact—helping to change the lives of children around the world. To learn more about upcoming changes to Show Hope’s Care Centers program, we encourage you to read this blog post from our Founders and Executive Director.

Peter

Peter is growing stronger by the day, and we are so excited to see him begin to be more independent in his room. He loves to work on standing and walking with his physical therapist, and when he’s not doing that, he likes to chase his toy cars around on all fours. We’re so proud...

Brianna

Brianna’s physical therapist knows that music brings a lot of joy. She had the great idea to play the xylophone during their session, making Brianna’s therapy exercises feel a lot like play! We love to see how happy the children are when they get to have fun while helping their bodies grow stronger.

Kent

Kent’s start to the new year has been filled with fun. His nanny taught him how to dance—which always gets a giggle—and he tried out the playroom swing, which is now his favorite playtime activity. We love seeing how much Kent has grown during his time in our care. Will you pray for Kent as...

Lilyana is smiling her way into the new year. She is as playful as ever, and has many hugs to give. She recently had the opportunity to try new crafts, join in on a sensory playday, and experience sweet memories during the holiday season. Lilyana continues to show her enthusiasm and determination to the world,...

David

David had the opportunity to join in on a sensory playday, and he absolutely loved it. He painted, felt the texture of cotton balls, and read touch and feel books. We love seeing children like David experience new and interesting things, and we are honored to get to share in these experiences with him.
