In light of upcoming changes to Show Hope’s Care Centers program, Show Hope will continue to share updates to the Care Centers Most Needed Supply List in alignment with our involvement with New Hope Foundation and fulfillment of our 2019–2020 agreement ending June 30, 2020. Thank you for your willingness to join us in caring for children with acute medical and special needs at the Care Centers in China. By helping to provide much-needed supplies, you are impacting lives in a tangible and lasting way.

Please note:

  • Powders are preferred over liquids due to shipping logistics.
  • Please contact Rebecca Dorris before gathering or sending clothing.
  • Generic and name brand items are both welcome (unless otherwise noted).
  • None of the prescription medicines are controlled substances.

Most Needed Supplies (​in order of greatest need)​:

  1. Specialty formula powders including formulas for food intolerance, allergies, or prematurity especially Neocate Infant formula and PreNan formula
  2. Hand sanitizer in pump bottles (32 oz or smaller)
  3. Nasogastric feeding tubes sizes French 6 and 8.
  4. Foley catheters sizes French 6, 8, 10, 16, 18, and 20.
  5. Pedialyte powders oral replacement salts
  6. Straight catheters for clean intermittent urinary catheterization sizes French 8 and 10
  7. Vaseline petroleum jelly
  8. Calorie supplements (like Duocal powders)
  9. Caviwipes or other disinfectant wipes
  10. High calorie and high protein dietary supplementation powders

Items that are not currently needed:

  1. Alcohol swabs
  2. Band-aids and cotton balls
  3. Blankets and stuffed animals
  4. Children’s Tylenol or Motrin
  5. Gauze
  6. Winged infusion sets and IV butterfly
  7. Self-stick elastic bandage
  8. Syringes
  9. Teething gels
