Sapphire's Story

Condition that affects her face and hands

Meet Sapphire

Sapphire is a precious little girl. Her nannies adore her giggle and so do we. She’s quiet and gentle, and always happy to be held in someone’s arms. We are blessed to care for her.

Recent Updates

Sapphire recently moved back to her guardian orphanage. We ask for prayers as she transitions and for the nannies who loved and cared for her. We are so proud of how far she has come, and will forever be grateful for the time we’ve spent with her.

Sapphire attended the first pool day of the summer and she looked darling in her little swimsuit with cherries on it. There were many sweet moments as she discovered the way the water moved under her hands, and she was content the entire time she was in the pool. We know she will also love joining in on other fun summer activities!

Sapphire loves the piano and noise makers in preschool. She grins and claps along to the music during all her favorite songs. She’s also great at crafts and enjoys having her hands painted. We are thankful that Sapphire has the opportunity to attend preschool.

Sapphire has been making huge strides, and we are so proud of her determination. Her laugh can light up the room. Her physical therapist says she loves to practice standing and enjoys playtime on her belly.

We are pleased to introduce you to Sapphire. She is a sweet girl with a lovely personality. We feel honored to care for her in this time, and ask you to join us in praying for her as we share more of her story.
