Recent Updates

We are very happy to share that Mavis recently joined his family through adoption! We’re thrilled that he is now with his family, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this amazing news. Thank you for faithfully praying for Mavis, and for your generosity in giving. You have made a true impact on his life. As Mavis comes to mind, please continue to pray for him and the many transitions which accompany adoption. Pray that his days will be marked with peace, comfort, love, and a deep attachment to his new family.

Mavis has enjoyed a fun start to the holidays! It recently snowed quite a bit in Zhengzhou, so the children had a white Thanksgiving. They enjoyed getting to look out the windows at the pretty snowflakes falling, and Mavis and the other children loved playing in the snow! They had a great time, and looked so cute all bundled up in their puffy winter clothes.

Mavis has one of the biggest and brightest smiles we’ve ever seen! We’re all smitten with his charm and personality. He’s a fun-loving little guy, and it is our privilege to care for him.

We’re excited for Mavis because he recently started attending preschool. He’s eager to join his friends each day, and he loves getting to learn!

Mavis spent time at Maria’s Big House of Hope earlier this summer and enjoyed making new friends. He is a happy, playful, and lovable little boy, and we are so thankful for the privilege we have to care for his needs.
