Lemuel recently returned to his guardian orphanage, and we miss him very much. Please continue to pray for Lemuel. Our prayer for him is that he would soon have the opportunity to enter a loving family through adoption. Please also pray for his transition. We love Lemuel and his spunky personality, and are so grateful to have been able to love and care for him.

Never was there a cuter Mickey Mouse than Lemuel! We recently celebrated the season with a Fall Festival, and Lemuel fit the character perfectly. His happy smile cheered everyone at the party. From posing at the photo booth with his nanny and “Minnie Mouse,” to hanging onto his balloon animal and raiding the candy bowls, Lemuel had the best time amidst all the festivities!

Lemuel can be cheeky, and he keeps us laughing. We love his sweet and tender heart. One of his favorite parts of the day is going to preschool with his friends. Lately in class they’ve been celebrating the start of fall and learning all about different seasons, and they made a fall wreath with leaves made from their handprints!

Lemuel recently turned 4 years old. He looked adorable in his party hat, but he wasn’t too sure he liked it. He enjoyed snacking on his “bāng bāng tōng” (lollipop in Mandarin), and spending time with his friends. Lemuel received a new frisbee and ball as his birthday present, and he’s had fun playing with them. We love Lemuel, and we are full of hope about what’s in store for his upcoming year.

Lemuel loves to be held and snuggled and often says, “bàobào” which means “hold” or “hug.” He also loves to play with sticks, dirt, and leaves when he goes outside. Lemuel is growing up, and we are seeing more and more of his personality develop.
