Maria is a Florida native who migrated north to Nashville to experience a change of scenery and seasons, and to pursue her dream of songwriting. Her love for the fatherless began at a young age, but her passion for orphan care was ignited on her first mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2004. Since then, she’s served on the mission field in three other countries, and considers herself truly blessed to work at an organization that is making a daily impact in the Kingdom. Maria works on the finance team, which not only involves numbers and spreadsheets, but also allows her extroverted side to shine as she speaks with the people who make Show Hope’s mission possible—our donors! She is a lover of coffee, travel, cold weather, Frank Sinatra (especially on vinyl), and a good dad-joke.
