Kathy McKinney is originally from Texas but exchanged the Longhorns for the Vols in 1997 when Nashville became home for her family. She has been married to her husband, Jerry for over 40 years. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in English/Education and taught high school students for many years before joining the staff at Show Hope in 2006. Her role as Grant Manager gives her the opportunity to share her personal story of adopting two children domestically. Her desire is to be an encouragement to families seeking information and financial assistance in the adoption journey. She is grateful for the privilege to care for the fatherless and adoptive families through the ministry of Show Hope, but her greatest joy is her five-year-old granddaughter, Piper.
