From Riley: Lemonade for Orphans

January 19, 2016 | Posted In Advocates

There’s a really neat wall in the Show Hope office. On this wall, there are pictures of every child that was under our care and has now come to know the love of a family. We’ve actually outgrown the wall — today there are pictures hanging all over the office from the rafters.

One of the first pictures hanging on that wall, before we outgrew it, is of a child named Kitt. Kitt’s name is now River. His older brother, Riley, set up a lemonade stand to make money for children who are still waiting to know a family. Riley wrote us a letter about it, and we would like to share it with you.

This is just awesome. We want to do everything possible to break down the barriers between waiting children and loving families, and we can’t do that without you!

Thanks, Riley, for being an inspiration to us all. We love what you are doing to care for orphans!
