Join Mary Beth Chapman in Raising the Next Generation of Orphan Care Leaders

The Chapmans with their daughter, Shaoey!

I am a firm believer in the power of God speaking through students. Many years ago, God used our 12-year-old daughter Emily, to introduce us to the thought of adoption and orphan care. While on a mission trip to Haiti, Emily allowed God to change her heart, and she challenged us to pray about what it would look like for our family to engage in the orphan crisis.

This began a faith journey that led us to adopt our daughters, and ultimately, led us to found Show Hope!

I believe that when we give students an outlet to help care for the vulnerable children of the world, here or abroad, they can indeed affect change. United, students can accomplish much. They are our next generation of adoptive parents, orphan care providers, and activists!

At Show Hope, we are passionate about mobilizing the next generation of leaders and orphan care advocates. Show Hope’s Movement Clubs allow students to take a stand and make a difference in the life of an orphan through student-led, orphan care service clubs in high schools all across America.

Encouraging Students to Care for Orphans

In these Movement Clubs, students are able to organize and execute service projects that benefit their local communities, like collection drives for orphan and foster care providers, work projects for adoptive families, and fundraisers to benefit orphans! The clubs also work through a curriculum that further educates the students on adoption and the orphan crisis.

My daughter, Shaohannah, recently helped launch a Movement Club in her high school!

“It is so important to me to let students at my school know that this is a serious issue in this imperfect world. The Movement Club allows us to have a personal impact on the orphan crisis!” – Shaohannah Chapman, age 15

Will you join us in reaching these students? By giving today, you will help us inspire the hearts of the next generation to advocate on behalf of orphans! Ultimately, the impact of your gift will be multiplied, because as students develop a heart for God’s children, more orphans around the world today and in the future will come to know the love of God!

With love for the fatherless,

Mary Beth Chapman
