At Show Hope, we believe that every child needs the love and support of a family. We also believe that everyone can do something. We exist to empower individuals, communities, and families to fulfill their calling to care for orphans!

Here are 3 ways to encourage your kids to get involved:

1. Study

In the Bible, God calls little children to come to him again and again. He calls them – as he calls all of us – to care for others. Study the Bible with your kids and work with them to memorize verses that call out the truth of the Gospel and our shared mission to care for orphans in distress. You can also sign up as a advocacy events and download our “Change for Orphans” children’s curriculum which teaches kids all about adoption and the global orphan crisis!

2. Commit

For just $35 per month, you and your family can make a lasting impact in the lives of orphans through adoption aid grants and life-giving medical care. If you cannot commit to financially caring for orphans, help your children understand that a financial commitment can be life changing – regardless of the amount! By setting aside money each month, your child’s heart will be changed as they give generously to care for waiting children around the world.

3. Advocate

Encourage your kids to advocacy events for orphans by using their own individual gifts and talents. They may want to write letters, paint pictures, or organize events to raise awareness for the plight of orphans. They may want to donate their birthday to raise funds or save up all their spare change and send it to Show Hope! We know that however your kids wants to get involved in the orphan crisis, they can make a huge difference in a child’s life!

There are lots of ways your family can get involved in caring for orphans in big and small ways. Show Hope has some ideas, but really, the sky is the limit!
